Sparks, Nev (August 30, 2022) – Legends Bay Casino has officially opened its doors and becomes the first new casino in northern Nevada in over 20 years. Tuesday’s opening celebration began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Garry Goett, Chairman and CEO of Olympia Companies, and guests included Nevada Governor, Steve Sisolak and the Mayor of Sparks, Ed Lawson.

The event kicked-off with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting in front of the casino before celebrations continued with a Grand Opening party where Circa Sports CEO, Derek Stevens, presided over the opening of the regions only Circa Sports Sportsbook. Featuring live entertainment, and the opening of new restaurants and dining spaces, including Duke’s Steak House, LB Grill and the Food Truck Hall, Legends Bay Casino officially ushered in a new era for northern Nevada gaming at 8:00 p.m. PST with the first official roll of the dice.
