Legends Bay Casino Marks First Anniversary with Epic Battle of the Bands Showdown, $60,000 Birthday Briefcase Promotion, and More

Media, cameras, and the public are invited as Legends Bay Casino, the first new casino built in Northern Nevada in over 20 years, is gearing up to celebrate its incredible one-year anniversary with a variety of casino promotions and a free two-day Battle of The Bands musical showdown on Aug. 25-26, 2023.
Produced by award-winning Amplified Entertainment, the outdoor Battle of Bands kicks off on Friday night, August 25th, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and continues through Saturday, August 26th, with a competition featuring 12 local and regional bands of varying genres including Classic Rock, Country, and Top 40. Guests can vote for their favorite band throughout the competition via a QR code from their mobile device. The competition will conclude on Saturday night with three bands claiming the $1,000 top prize for their genre.
Following each night’s festivities, the party will be taken indoors to the bar inside to the sportsbook bar from 10 p.m. to midnight for the official first-anniversary After Party where we’ll jam on with free live entertainment from New Wave Crave and Eminence, plus enjoy drink specials, and more.
In honor of this milestone occasion, Legends Bay Casino is offering a commemorative First Anniversary LB Rewards player’s club card and is bringing guests the $60,000 Birthday Briefcase promotion every Friday and Saturday throughout August. Players can win their share of cash during 8 p.m. drawings by earning entries all week long while playing slots, video poker, and table games. Upon opening a lucky briefcase, winners can score up to $2,500 cash instantly. With 240 winners in total, each lucky case holds a guaranteed cash prize in denominations of $2,500, $1,000, $750, $500, and $250. But that’s not all – 25 runners-up at every drawing will score $100 in free play each.
